Oak Bluff West
Energy-efficient construction which will ensure heating bills are much less than that of an average code built home. The home was designed and built by the J&R Sundberg Construction team. This year, eight homes were showcased by six unique builders.

Westbound Superior Street traffic will be detoured from London Road at 14th Avenue East and from Superior Street at 12th Avenue East to westbound First Street. Tenth Avenue East will close to traffic from First Street to Superior Street. London Road will close to vehicle traffic from 10th to 14th avenues east for parade lineup.
Garden City
The parade will continue west on Superior Street to Fourth Avenue West, where parade units will disperse. Marching bands and dance groups will exit the parade route down Fourth Avenue West to buses waiting on Michigan Street. Floats will dismantle in the 400 block of West Superior Street and exit the area on Fifth Avenue West. All avenues and exits onto Grand Avenue between 59th Avenue West and Central Avenue will be closed during the parade. The annual parade along Grand Avenue in West Duluth features marching bands, floats, antique cars, motorcycles and military groups. Please join us at our Lakeville model for an afternoon cookout complete with beer, brats and bags!

Let the kids explore and jump in our backyard bounce house as YOU explore the fabulous upgrades of our Jamestown model home. When you purchase your ticket you will receive the magazine which contains the map/home addresses. If you purchase your ticket on-line, you will be instructed how to obtain the map/addresses. Bring the e-ticket to any Parade home and you will receive a magazine and ticket lanyard. Maps and addresses will be available on-line, beginning February 18th to anyone who has purchased a ticket on-line.
Westdale
Come visit our brand new model at Ravinia from 2-5 p.m. An annual community celebration of the original and diverse music of Duluth and its surrounding communities. The festival includes nearly 200 local musical acts at over 30 venues, a children’s music showcase, poetry, visual art, film, fire spinning, and a kickball game. More than 40 percent of the festival’s events are free admission and accessible to all-ages audiences.

People walk by the giant rubber duck at the Festival of Sail in Two Harbors on Thursday. City Hall has put local tourism promotion up for bid. Each year, members of the Arrowhead Builders Association construct new homes to showcase their expertise. The homes are then open to the public to tour in the spring during the “Homes on Parade”.

Originally the basement had a tuck under garage which is now a family room. The west side room was two rooms when built, one of which was a sunroom. The Duluth Preservation Alliance , which advocates for the preservation of Duluth’s historic architecture, is hosting its 38th Annual Historic Properties Tour on Sunday, September 16th.

Sections of 12th and 13th avenues east and the 1300 block of Jefferson Street will close for parade lineup. No parking will be allowed on either side of Grand Avenue along the parade route. Motorists should be alert to detours and officers directing traffic.

Lake Avenue will close between First Street and the I-35 ramps on the Lake Avenue viaduct. All I-35 ramps at Lake Avenue will remain open during the parade, but will only be accessible from the Canal Park side. DTA buses will use First Street for westbound routes and Second Street for eastbound routes. On Superior Street from 10th Avenue East to Fifth Avenue West. Motorists should be aware of no-parking areas in Downtown Duluth and along London Road.
The Midwest’s greatest Fourth of July celebration and fireworks extravaganza! Visit Bayfront Festival Park during the Independence Day Celebration! Duluthians and visitors alike will enjoy this FREE community celebration. Chum’s 17th annual Rhubarb Festival promises lots of rhubarb — including hundreds of pies, muffins and crisps, as well as rhubarb brats and burritos. There will also be live music, games, crafts, auctions and stage shows. This year the festival is being held at Stella Maris Academy — Holy Rosary Campus from 10AM to 3PM.
